Prof. dr Asen Dzolev (born 1948), graduated dentistry at Faculty of Stomatology, Belgrade in 1972. Specialized maxillary facial surgery in 1984. Worked in Clinical Centre of Serbia, Belgrade; Military Medical Academy, Belgrade; Clinical Centre of Vojvodina, Novi Sad. 1984/85 at the Institute of Oncology, Paris, France, postgraduate training course of surgery. 1989/90 at the Central Hospital of Lion, France, postgraduate training course of surgery. Master of Science obtained at the University of Novi Sad in 1994. Obtained his PhD from the University of Novi Sad in 2000. 1995 became the Assistent profesor at Medical Faculty, Novi Sad. 2000 became the Profesor at Medical Faculty, Novi Sad. In 1995 - 2000 Chairman of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Medical Faculty, Novi Sad. Since 2007., Chairman of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Faculty of Stomatology, Pancevo. Chief Assistant of the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit in Clinical Centre of Vojvodina, Novi Sad 1995-2000. Owner of a private practice "Dzolev NS Centar", Novi Sad, Since 2000. Professional Memberships (Including memberships in professional societies and membership(s) on federal government public advisory committee(s)): Ex-President of the Serbian Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons, Member of the European Association for Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, Member of the International College for Maxillofacial Surgery, Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Member of the International Association of Humane and Esthetic Sciences, Moscow 2002. Publications: The total of about 160 professional scientific presented at scientific meetings in the country and abroad, and published in local and foreign medical journals
